This was a good low cost option to stay in Athens which is why I chose it. Everything was clean it could accommodate 4 guests. The location was about a 30 minute walk from the tourist area including the Acropolis. The area was safe but somewhat run down. There were plenty of places to get food or coffee nearby, not so much on other shopping. There’s a convenience store within a 1 minute walk for any essentials. There’s some things that are specific to Greece that I found annoying. The shower is a handheld sprayer attached to the faucet on the tub. To get hot water, you have to turn on the breaker and wait for 20 minutes then turn it off and hope you have enough hot water. Communication with properties is slow even when in the same time zone. They seem to like to communicate in other Apps like What’s App rather than the VRBO platform. I don’t use those Apps and had issues with that aspect. Some things specific to this property. I stayed for a week and had plenty of toilet paper and paper towels provided. Evidently, this isn’t common and places don’t restock for longer stays. It had a kitchen, but was not well stocked with cookware, sharp knives of a wine screw. It has a countertop oven with 3 burners on top that didn’t work well. I brought my French press to make coffee in the morning and it took an hour to heat the water to just shy of boiling, I timed it. It could use one of the electric kettles that plugs in. Overall I recommend as an inexpensive option.
