A lovely and peaceful stay! A great place to recharge and explore the area.

We had a great stay at this property. The space was well appointed with everything we needed, clean and thoughtfully decorated, with big windows that let us enjoy the amazing view of the forest from the living room, kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms were comfortable and cosy with very nice bed linens. The outdoor shower was very welcome. The kids loved it. The location couldn’t have been better for all of the activities and we wanted to take in…the beaches are all in quite close proximity, amazing hiking and swimming visiting the potholes in Sooke was amazing. We stopped in at Shirley delicious and had the breakfast buns. They were amazing. We also tried out the stoked pizza one evening…best pizza ever. We truly had a great vacation with our family of 8… thank you!! Would totally recommend this property 100%.

What a great 5 days! Shaun and his property are great. A very central homebase for exploring from Sooke out to Port Renfrew. So much to do in this part of the world.Although we had a small issue that was out of Shaun's control at the beginning, he stepped up and went way above and beyond to make it perfect. Things like this can happen, and his response was more than we would have expected from a typical owner. Only mentioning this to praise the response, as that's the mark of a great owner. Wouldn't anticipate this affecting anyone else.Home is great, spacious, quiet and a perfect getaway. Super clean Weber BBQ, nice rooms, and lots of room for 2 families that traveled together. Lots of hot water and the outdoor shower for rinsing off wetsuits was a plus. Parking, safety and security all great.Would recommend Shaun and his property 100%

We had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable and a great base for us to explore the area. Showers especially were great with great hot water and pressure. Lots of space and sleeping areas. The kitchen and bathrooms were great. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the deck and watched the deer go by.
