In a noisy chaotic area, this hotel was quiet and peaceful; set back off the main street. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but that's the way I like it. A couple of boiled eggs, toast, fruit, and tea or coffee. What more could you want. If you wanted more, they had the option to pay for a Japanese or other type breakfast. But I like the free breakfast.
I asked for the 5th floor so I suppose I could say I didn't like walking to the 5th floor, no elevator, but I'm an exercise buff and I loved it! It was just below the roof, and the roof had a great hangout area.

Breakfast, no glass in room , loud music all night due to a adjacent club

The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location in Thamel was very convenient, close to shops and restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The surroundings could be a bit noisy at times, and some facilities could be improved.
