I enjoyed my stay at Ashe Ruby Hotel in Santo Domingo. The hotel was exactly as advertised, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Since I only speak English, communication was difficult at times, especially during the booking process. That wasn't the staff's fault, but having someone who speaks English or a little more support for English-speaking guests would make the experience even better.
The only issue I had during my stay was with the towels. The first set provided wasn't clean, and it took a little while to get fresh ones. They did eventually replace them, and I appreciated that.
Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel met my expectations, the staff was friendly, and I would consider staying there again.
