Marty was really nice. Property was as advertised, but it was out in the country, which is beautiful, but it was advertised as being in town and it’s not.

Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. Hopefully owner will correct this review if that’s not the case. Things to know: Bring bug spray and do tick checks on yourself and your dogs before coming inside. The yard is not maintained so the tall grass is tick haven. There is a porcupine out back near the stone wall there. It will spike the dogs if they harass it! The fire pit doesn’t appear to be maintained, as it is surrounded by knee deep grass. It’s next to what appears to be utility lines on the ground and we didn’t want to chance melting them if we started a campfire. Kitchen and bathroom are tiny. Which is fine, but just be aware. My guy is 6’2” and could barely get up and down the ladder from the bathroom to the loft upstairs. The composting toilet was getting full and the smell wafted up to the loft. We didn’t meet the host but in all contact with him, he was kind, responsive and welcoming. His listing is 100% accurate. With a few improvements to this super cute property, it would definitely be a five star from me! The view makes it all worth it! Thanks for the getaway!
