The location was exactly as expected, nice and quiet, and the swimming pool was great too.
There were no instructions relating to equipment so, because the kitchen was well furnished with modern equipment, I had to ask how to use the cooker. The host seemed surprised that I wanted a kettle, something that's generally provided by hosts, and suggested I use a saucepan instead. Practical but unexpected.

The property was gated and secure, with the friendly host and family close by if needed. The property was well situated, close to Beziers and beaches. The gite was in excellent condition, clean and well equipped.
