Breakfast was great but slightly on the small side.
Cleanliness could have been better. It was a share bathroom between many bedrooms though so cannot complain

I left by 7:30am and couldn't see what time breakfast was. The pub didn't look open.
I thought the rooms were no smoking but could smell cigarette smoke all night coming from other rooms. I also wore ear plugs as some of the guests would have kept me awake otherwise, and I had a medical and fitness test the next day so needed good sleep. I heard someone belch (burp) as they were walking past my room at 3:30am. I gave the room a good score because the staff were friendly, the room was alright. Shared bathroom was ok, overall good value for money.

Bike friendly. Hotel was close to the Ridgeway track.
Bathroom needs a clean.

It was a good stop off for a walk along The Ridgeway. I think the price of the room and the food/wine was sensible. Nice to have a free pool table. The cheese roll I got for a packed lunch for the next days walking was great.
Not much that can be done about this, but the room was just too noisy from the other guests. The double room is adjacent to the shared bathroom and the frequent door slamming, phone calls in the corridor, was very loud, as there is no sound proofing. Had a great lay in after the other guests had left though. If you're a group booking out all the rooms, or you are the only guest it would be fine.
