This was an amazing little place and charming. The updated features are amazing. If you are expecting a 5 star resort stay in one. This is a home and you can see the love put into it but it is not “perfect”. It is a cabin that experiences extreme temperature changes through seasons and years so there are creaky floors and imperfections as all homes have. Everything you could need is supplied. Everything is clean and well maintained. The updated “grotto” style bathroom is amazing. The owners respond quickly and are kind. I really do wish I brought my service animal because it is pet friendly. It is located minutes away from the south gate. I am familiar with Yosemite but for those who are not you are about an hour to an hour half away from the central tourist points in Yosemite so keep that in mind. Do your research. It was absolutely perfect for what we were there for.

This is NOT the property owners fault, but the guests staying in the rental next door were EXTREMELY loud. They woke us from a dead sleep screaming, we thought they were being attacked at first. Also the positioning of the cabins… please be aware if the other (assuming unaffiliated) cabins are rented there is not really any privacy. The neighbors were drunk and parting on the balcony trying to communicate with us while we were in the outdoor hot tub, again NOT the property owners fault. I am in no way a prude nor do I get bothered by others usually but they were definitely a pain to deal with at night while trying to sleep.
