Cute , clean and comfortable home with plenty to do!

🥃 A Perfect Bourbon Trail Home Away From Home! Our stay at New Hope Bourbon Stop was absolutely fantastic! Staying just outside of Bardstown gave us the perfect opportunity to get off the main roads and explore the beautiful Kentucky countryside. We drove through incredible scenery, past gorgeous horse farms and rolling farmland, and, of course, passed what seemed like countless distilleries along the Bourbon Trail. Our host made exploring the trail even easier by providing a QR code with a wealth of information to help plan our distillery route. It was such a fantastic resource and made organizing our days so much easier. And then there was Buffalo Trace Distillery—which we learned can be one of the hardest tours to get into. As luck would have it, on the morning of my birthday, I happened to check for reservations and TWO spots opened up! You better believe I snagged them! What a birthday surprise! The New Hope Bourbon Stop home itself was so cute and full of character. We loved the history of the property and the fact that it had once been a store. The old licenses displayed in the home were such a unique touch and added to its charm. The original wooden floors, complete with all their little creaks, somehow made the house feel even more cozy and authentic. The house is also incredibly well set up for anyone planning to explore the Bourbon Trail. There’s a great bar area with games and everything you need to enjoy tastings from your Bourbon Trail purchases. The full kitchen was another huge plus—and unlike many vacation rentals, it was actually stocked well enough for real cooking, which we did several times during our stay. And then came one of the sweetest surprises: a dozen fresh eggs from our host! They were absolutely amazing. What a wonderful and thoughtful touch! Thank you, hostess! 🥚❤️ The outdoor space was another bonus.

Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to mow a path from the driveway to the side walk as my feet in sandals were wet every morning when leaving.

Beds and bedding was very comfortable. Lots of extra towels and dishes provided.

Bushes needed to be trimmed. Was closer to the street than photos showed. Furniture in living room, dining area and kitchen makes it feel crowded.

It was nice! Good location with room to gather as a family. Boys loved the games! Neat place to stay, good for families!

A gravel parking pad closer to the door would be a great addition.
