Very friendly staff doing all they can to keep us happy, comfortable room with view of Nachi waterfall. Free coffee, tea, ice-cream, free clothing and toothbrush etc.
The set menu and breakfast plates were far too much food for us. The quality was very good but we felt bad wasting a lot of it. We just arrived from Switzerland and are not used to the local food.
There are a couple of announcements in every part of the hotel including the bed rooms. Dinner time, sleep time, breakfast time. Thats to much as we are not children and the rules where communicated at check-in.

A wonderful place to stay after 4 days walking the Kumano Kodo. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The food was amazing. The facilities were clean and comfortable, I even had a view of Nachi Falls from my room.

Very traditional Japanese hotel
Paid extra for a view of the waterfall which was obscured by overgrown bamboo

"Struttura molto bella a pochi minuti a piedi dal grande santuario Kumano Nachi Taisha e dalla bellissima cascata di Nachi (che si vede dalla finestra).
Camera pulitissima, onsen carino. Ottimi i pasti..."
