Great base for exploring the peninsula and the wider area including Dubrovnik and Korcula, but thanks to the small beach meters away ( or a slightly larger few hundred meters away) it's also suitable for just relaxing. The housekeeper was exceptional. She answered any questions we had, and was very helpful, but also considerate of our privacy.
We didn't mind using our car for quick trips, but a couple of bikes would have saved us some gas. The upstairs double bed was squeaky.
