Amazing property full of dense plantation, you feel extremely close to nature and the restaurant also serves amazing food for really affordable prices

The room was hot even with air conditioning

The villas are so close to rice plantations which made the resort have a very tranquil atmosphere. You hear the sound of a gentle breeze and cicadas at night. The surrounds are well maintained and so while the resorts has a lot plants, it is not overgrown or dirty and so the risk of running into cobwebs/spiders on your way to your villa is not there. The villa I stayed in was spacious, clean and understated. The wooden design, outdoor shower and stone bathtubs really fit well with the environment. The room was minimally but tastefully decorated with furniture and artwork that matched the vibe of the villa and the surrounds. The mattress was comfortable. The minifridge in the villa was strong and froze bottled water completely which is really important as Indonesia is so hot and so the bottled water which you have frozen overnight is still just freshly melted and cold by the time you want to drink it whilst outdoors on a day tour the following day. The Wifi is decent for Indonesia. The on-site restaurant (Wedja) is a highlight. It specialised in duck dishes which was delicious. However, all other options are also delicious. On one of the days, I ordered a burger just to take a break from Indonesian food and this was also delicious. The juices, coconut shakes and coffees were also delicious and not too sweet. It was a nice touch to not have a telephone in the room as this technology is just outdated and unnecessarily adds a piece of ugly furniture/equipment that is obsolete and clashes with the understated look of the villa. Staff can simply be contacted via WhatsApp which is monitored and responded to quickly. There were several instances were there were lizard droppings on my bed (which can happen as the resort is close to nature), and my request to replace the bedding was actioned quickly. Massage appointment requests were actioned immediately. The staff were friendly and provided restaurant recommendations enthusiastically.

I requested my check out time to be a bit later as my flight that day was at 10pm but the check out time was only extended by an hour from 12pm to 1pm. I don't see why it wouldn't have been possible for the check out time to be extended as late as 2pm or even 2:30 as check in time at the hotel is at 3pm so still enough time to prepare the villa for the next guest as the villa does not have a lot of furniture and could be cleaned and prepared quite quickly. The foot massage I got was decent but not exceptional. The massage also did not have a foot bath to wash wipe your foot/leg before/after the massage with water so you leave with a greasy feeling from the massage oil that is used. While the restaurant was exceptional, there were minor lapses in attention to detail to customer service. For example, there was one meal where my main course was served to me before any drinks were served which took another five minutes to arrive.

The Food was AMAZING. Service was good. The hotel was like the pictures.

The reception staff were not very helpful.

The location of the resort is good and there is a good security when you enter the property.

The place is not maintained for a good stay. We stayed in our own private Mezanine villa, but the stay was as far from pleasant. The whole villa was shaky, there were multiplexes the size of palm crawling in the bathroom. I saw three in my two days stay and I was at a point scared of sleeping or taking a shower. If you need something you have to walk all the way out of resort to request something. The whole bathroom was open, so there were a lot of mosquitoes in the night. Horrible stay.
