The apartment had everything I needed: washing machine; kitchen utensils; hairdryer and nothing was missing. No TV which I knew, but it didn't bother me. Kitchen area pretty cool with breakfast bar and stools. Shower cubicle was spacious and water pressure and heat very good. Couldn't have windows opened in evening for mosquitoes, but the fan supplied was A1. The location is 10 minute or so stroll to the Old Port and literally around the corner to the bus & train station. The surrounding area is quite chaotic with traffic and vibrant with restaurants...most of which appeared Arabic or Algerian themed/owned (the bar outside apartment block entrance does great coffee), but from the apartment I didn't hear any noise bar neighbours coming and going and downstairs outside court yard. I felt pretty safe too. You have to bear in mind the apartment is on the 5th floor with steps to negotiate. Communication and instructions from host in abundance.

Think biggest let down was tiled floor which could do with some attention if not totally redone with some tiles loose or cracked. Same tiling was actually all down the block staircase and in even worse condition to an extent dangerous for safety. The building interior a bit shabby looking. Wasn't keen on sofa bed more for the fact it was too low to the ground for me than comfort wise (I slept ok). Didn't like the place to pick up the keys and had to climb one flight of stairs with bag; retrieving keys wasn't straight forward as a code needed was missing. Considering the inconvenience of having to retrieve and return keys to a different location the host imo should allow an hour earlier and later check in and out to compensate. All things considered was a pleasant stay.

Très agréable et charmant appart. Fonctionnel avec tout qu’on avait besoin. Près de toutes les commodités, même pas 5 minutes de marche de la gare Saint Charles, quartier très vivant et agréable voisinage. Je le recommande très vivement.

5 étages sans ascenseur, ce n'est pas peu d'espace avec des bagages, le service de livraison et de libération des clés est ennuyeux avec les bagages
