Really clean and comfortable

The room was really comfortable and pretty, with a shabby chic vibe! The pub/ restaurant downstairs is super convenient for a drink before bed or some food. Staff were lovely and chatty. No noise from any other rooms either so had great sleep.
The hotel wasn’t in the centre so had to get the bus in every time we went out which isn’t too much of an issue as they run regularly but just something to think about when booking. The floorboards were so loud in our room, even just walking to the bathroom wasn’t quiet at all. The shower pressure was weak also so took me a while to fully rinse my long hair. Other than that we had a great stay.

The rooms are nice and the beds are comfy, shower and toilet clean and modern
Shower and toilet are right next to the bed so a bit weird, plus the windows are those old sliding windows that don't shut properly so there is a fair amount of road noise at night

Good location
One thing I did not like was that even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was on, housekeeping staff still accessed the room to clean. I believe the privacy request should be respected unless there is an urgent reason to enter the room.
Communication could also be improved, especially as there was no reception on site. It was sometimes unclear who to contact or how to get assistance when needed.
