The family is very kind and welcoming — they offered tea and snacks on arrival, which I really appreciated. The room itself is spacious and clean.
I had an issue with a very strong smell of naphthalene balls in my room. After I complained, the owner removed a large ball (about the size of a ping pong ball), but the smell remained very strong.
I had to keep the windows open constantly, and I started experiencing headaches and irritation in my throat. If you are sensitive to smells or concerned about air quality and your health, this might be an issue for you.
Unfortunately, the owner did not seem to recognize this as a problem.
For a similar price, you may find accommodation closer to the beach.
