Great location. We enjoyed the 20-25 minute walk down into the city and along the river. There were regular buses to get back up to the house and a bus stop at the end of the street. The house is a 5 minute walk from a large retail park.
The neighbour was quiet.
Not really anything. Funni made us feel welcome and very comfortable.

We stayed at the property while at an Open Day at Durham University. Our host Funmi was very responsive. She answered my call at 11pm as we couldn't find the towels (they were stored in a box at the bottom of the bath tub). There was also coffee pods and a small cartoon of milk, which was left for us, and that was amazing! Every room had a fan, which was really important in the heat. The towels were very soft and smelt lovely. The property was very clean.
The property is quite outdated. The floorboards creaked at every step as well as every door. We would've really liked if the shower had a bit more pressure, though this is not something our host could do about.

Great location, close to area we were visiting. Easy check in process.
House could do with a bit of TLC and updating.

"Great WiFi, plenty of parking close to shops literally a 10 minute walk if that."
