Lovely friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with lots of choice. The room was beautifully clean.
We would have liked to be a little closer to old Shanklin town. Having said that, this is just a personal thing and it is just a short walk to the shops

The views from the balcony were exceptional.
The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, nothing was too much trouble.
Food was very good and they catered for my gluten & dairy intolerance extremely well.
The bathroom was very snug.
The bedroom would have benefited from a chest of drawers or shelves.

Breakfast was good in adjoining hotel
No one was present at Carlton Hotel when we arrived. Eventually another resident arrived and told us to find assistance in hotel next door which was a partner
