An exceptional stay in a beautifully transformed former brewery. The concept is fantastic: the building’s industrial heritage blends seamlessly with carefully chosen materials, stylish interiors and thoughtful design. The hotel feels like an experience in itself. We loved the location in the beautiful Carlsberg district, with easy access to central Copenhagen and its attractions. A wonderful choice for anyone who appreciates architecture, comfort and a neighbourhood with real character. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it without hesitation.

Amazing Hotel Style & Location

The design of the hotel is beautiful and it has real potential to be a great hotel. The area it is located in is up and coming - things are starting to open up there. The furniture was gorgeous and the wine hour is a very nice touch. The ancient baths underneath the hotel was the star of the stay.

Having stayed at another Brochner Hotel before, my standards were set for my trip. Helped by the cost of the booking also. I thought I was in for a great experience. But at check in, things weren't matching up. We barely got a hello, no questions were asked, no polite chit chat or courtesy was extended. There seemed to be an issue, but instead of talking to us about it, the receptionist called a co-worker over. We got assigned a completely incorrect room in another part of the building - not the Heritage wing. So back we went. It was very late at this point and after a delayed flight and some car hire trouble, we just wanted to sleep. I don't recall an apology but a new room key was given. And again, it wasn't the room I had booked. Tired, we agreed to go to sleep and deal with it in the morning. The room in question was WARM - the air con clearly not working. I sweated all night and barely got any sleep. Not great when we had a fun but long travel day on our first day to look forward to. The room was small and had a slither of a window and a slither of a wardrobe, it felt like a one person room absolutely. Angry, hot and tired and feeling the most claustrophobic I've ever felt in a hotel, I went to reception and was offered about 4 other different rooms. Makes you wonder why I was given such a tiny and incorrect room supposedly for 2 guests in the first (second) place. Third room was better. But still the air con did not work for the entirety of our stay. I messaged, I went to the front desk. Nothing was done. I felt ignored. We did not feel welcome in the hotel. On leaving, the goodbye was just as abrupt. Even after a few months I am completely perplexed by the service at this hotel. For the price and given the reputation, it was a seriously disappointing stay.
