Stay away.

The fire place.

The cleaners hadn't been so had to call to get that fixed. Place is run off grid. Apparently it was playing up that morning but still accepted us that afternoon. I put a load of washing on then the jug and lost power. Had to get an extension cord from the owners house to finish washing. After washing finished I put the jug on, and yes the power went out. As it was late at night we didn't leave until first thing in the morning. Had to book another place for the rest of our stay. The driveway was steep and full of leaves, nowhere to turn if you are in a 4wdrive. Leaves were slippery, not a safe driveway. Owner offered a full refund but the lady looking after bookings had a different story each time I called. Booking.com looked after us in the end. No curtains in the main area, anyone can see straight in the living area. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. No where on booking.com does it state this place is run off grid. If it was I wouldn't have booked it.

Clean, quiet and excellent location.

Hidden Retreat was very quiet and the location in close proximity to Cataract Gorge and the CBD excellent. The property was very clean, neat and tidy.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property.
