WoodSpring Suites Sumter near Shaw AFB

Location. Safe. Clean. Best sleeping- most comfortable bed.

No shower curtain. We had to check in late in the evening so we didn’t want to wait for front desk.

The place was immaculately Clean. Coffee available any time

The bed was so close to one wall that (I went as a couple ) that it was hard to get in the bed from One side and so close to wall that no room for bedside table to set phone, water or glasses on

The price but I quickly figured out why.

It’s not really advertised as an extended stay.

The property was very clean. We liked having a full sized refrigerator. Loved the deep bath tub

While the kitchen was nice to have, but was completely unusable. Never had a lit hen that was not furnished with anything. You don't provide breakfast, because you provide a kitchen in the rooms, but the rooms are completely unfurnished to be able to microwave or cook anything. That makes the kitchen a total waste of time. And space. The bathroom was very under furnished, no hairdryer, no hand towels, no bath, wash or shampoo, no tissues. The room felt empty and unfurnished. Since there was no carpet on the floors, the people in the room above us sounded like they were elephants stomping on the ceiling all night. There was no ice machine or ice buckets available, so freezer in the refrigerator but no way to make ice. None of this seemed to be reflected in the promotional information.
