I couldn’t recommend the Riad enough!! Such a beautiful, peaceful property and only a short walk to the sights of Marrakech! Julie made us feel so at home and couldn’t have been more helpful with organising things for us and made it extra special for my partners birthday. We had a massage and enjoyed a dip in the pool after exploring Marrakech!

The property was clean, room was spacious and comfortable and a lovely terrace. Julie is such a brilliant host and made sure to look after us the whole stay including sorting out lots of taxis with very kind drivers. Thank you Julie!

The riad is clean, beautiful decorated with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was on place and ready for us. The morrocan-style breakfast on the terrace was nice and quickly served, Julie, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The communication with her went smoothly all the time, and she offered to assist us with anything during our stay. The staff was very friendly as well.

The Riad is gorgeous, the decor is beautiful. The Riad is very small with only a couple of rooms and the owner lives in the Riad, so it feels very much like a Bed and Breakfast. The owner is very helpful and contacts you well in advance of arrival to figure out if you want things organized, help with transport, etc. Very good communication. The breakfast was traditional Moroccan breakfast and very good. You can also order lunch and dinner ahead of time for an extra fee. We did this once and the meal was very good. The Riad doesn't have fridges in the room, but you can use the kitchen fridge if you need to store anything. Comfortable beds and good linens. The pool is small but very nice and refreshing, perfect during our stay when it was 45C. The roof terrace is where meals are served and there are loungers available to suntan and relax. Note that the owner has two small dogs - if you are scared of dogs or allergic, be aware as they roam freely in the Riad. The stay was very lovely and the host is very nice, but the concerns we had with AC, Wifi and noise were significant enough to affect our rating as they are such important elements to a stay and why an accommodation is chosen.

Our main concern is that the AC can't keep up in the quadruple room. We were there during July heat and the way the room is shaped the AC could not cool the room properly and it was unpleasantly hot during the night making it very hard to sleep. We believe this was exasperated by the fact that the room has an exteriour window which gets afternoon sun. The other few rooms are interiour facing and I believe the AC would be more effective, but I can't be certain. We had no Wifi for the first 24 hours of our stay, which significantly ate into our data. The Riad is a good 20 minutes away from the main attractions in the Medina so it's a good hike away of things. It's on a residential street which has a lot of people hanging out at night, so with the exteriour windows it can be loud until 2am. The dogs also tend to bark when people come back late, so again it's loud at times and wakes you up. Note that the host offers to book a variety of outings and transport which is very helpful, however, she doesn't have a credit card machine and only takes cash. She did not advise us of this ahead of time, so we had to go to the cash machine several times to pay for our bookings. For some reason, after the first two breakfasts the following breakfasts no longer provided us with an egg and Moroccan yogurt - those were just removed and not replaced with anything else.
