Location next to the beach with a spacious garden. Washing machine and dishwasher available.

Host did not reply on basic questions where to park and we needed to ask for the entry code on check-in and check-out rather than it being provided to us in advance. The apartment is big but the tableware was very outdated and often with broken handles or cracks. Also, a lot (!) of mosquitos were inside the apartment as they had opened all doors and windows. They also made it difficult to sit outside comfortably.

A beautiful location very close to the beach and a 25-minute walk from Menton. Nice, Menton, Èze, etc., were all less than a 45-minute drive away. The apartment is situated in a lively area with restaurants and a dog-friendly beach nearby. It was also nice that there was a large garden (with a fence if you’re bringing your dog). The host was also friendly and responded quickly. The description says there’s no parking, but there are paid parking spots right in front of the apartment—though you sometimes have to get lucky to find one available. We hadn’t expected this, so it’s really nice that you can park your car nearby (though we wouldn’t recommend leaving it there all day—the cost can quickly add up to around twenty euros).

Everything was good, except for a few minor things: the curtains let in a lot of light (which is especially unpleasant if you’re a light sleeper), there wasn’t quite enough cutlery, the apartment is a bit small for 7 people, it was very hot without air conditioning, and there were a lot of mosquitoes—though, of course, the host can’t do anything about that.
