Since we took a late flight to Naples, we stayed here for one night before moving on to the Amalfi Coast. The property was around a 10 minute walk from the airport which was great, especially when you just want to get to bed after a long day of travelling. We stayed during June where temperatures in Italy were 30+ degrees in the evening and the air con was a god send! The owner was lovely and helped us settle in despite the language barrier.

I really wanted to enjoy our stay here, especially as you can tell that a lot of love has gone into it. Unfortunately the location and bedroom cleanliness did ruin our experience. While close to the airport, the area itself was sketchy. We arrived around 9pm, it was still light outside but we didn't feel safe. Eventually we found the property and struggled to get in, but after messaging the host they kindly came over to help. After getting into the property, we felt a lot better. The downstairs was clean, the air con was brilliant and the facilities looked good, the bedroom area did however let it down. The bedroom is a mezzanine, so there stairs from the living room that connect to a balcony overlooking the downstairs. Unfortunately my partner had to crouch on the balcony as it was close to the ceiling. When we went to get into bed we found stains and quite a few hairs in the bed so we just lay on top of the duvet which seemed cleaner. At this point we were both exhausted and just wanted to sleep, but the noise was terrible. Every time I started to fall asleep I'd get woken up by constant dog barking, shouting or loud bangs. In the end I only got a couple hours sleep - not ideal when your next day is more travelling! Based on the other reviews, I'm assuming ours was a one off bad experience so do take it with a pinch of salt. The property has a lot of good features and has the makings of a truly great place with just a few tweaks. I understand you can't change your location, but I do think sound-proofing and checking cleanliness would go a very long way in making your guests more comfortable.

sehr sauber. sehr nahe am flughafen.

The neighborhood looks a bit sketchy, but it’s walking distance to the airport which is all that mattered to us.

Close to airport and very clean.

We’ve never been to Naples and we’re quite surprised at the neighborhood when we arrived honestly a bit sketchy and nothing super close to do during the day. It was a 2hr walk to the waterfront area and that wasn’t fantastic either. Also loud at night (small children up until 2am).
