Lovely apartment, friendly staff everyday, excellent food, great WiFi
As it’s directly above the pub…if it gets lively as it did on our first night (dog show after party) you’ll be needing ear plugs to sleep..but the other 2 nights were quiet from 10pm so no complaints

Cosy apartment with lovely views over fields with sheep etc, everything available for a relaxed stay. This was our 2nd visit, I would happily book here again. A great base for Eskdale. :)

Love that you get the flat to yourself, there's plenty of space and you can park right outside. Great location for Scafell pike and river Esk hike.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted nicely as the staff member seemed stressed out about being the only one working.
The bedroom which was in the elevated area was boiling hot with no windows there and no fans provided.
Water pressure is very weak in the shower.
