The treehouse cabin is well equipped. Location is nice and remote. You will travel a gravel road to the treehouse. There is parking for multiple cars. It is located near a shallow entry to the lake with a canoe available. There are window AC units that work to cool the cabin. There is a large screened in porch with fans. There are swings and a hammock under the porch with chairs and corn hole which makes a nice place to hang out. There is a charcoal BBQ, laundry room and fire pit. The property is pet friendly. We had a great time It was a “10” We loved paddle boarding,(we brought our own), canoeing, fishing and swimming in the creek. The yard was fun for relaxing and playing yard games.Beds were comfortable. We had 9 people ranging from 79-9. Would highly recommend.

We spent two great nights, the cabin is great and we enjoyed canoeing in the lake!

Overall: I would definitely recommend. It’s a great quiet spot on the lake perfect for kids (very shallow). We caught so many fish and all the wildlife/birds were amazing to watch. The cabin was super cute and we had a great week! Some things to note:1) Bedrooms smallish especially when using trundle/hide-away beds.2) Air conditioning only in bedrooms so must keep doors open and use fans to help cool living/kitchen areas.3) Seated eating area is limited. 4-5 people can be seated at the kitchen bar. Maybe 2-3 others can sit at a very small table in the screened-in-porch but if you want to eat together as a family, you’re either standing in the kitchen or using your lap on the couch.4) Very steep drive coming down to the cove/cabin. It shouldn’t be a problem for most vehicles but I think it’s important to note.5) To access the cove, you must cross the street. It isn’t busy at all but I was shocked when some cars did pass through because I just didn’t realize there were more homes past the cabin.6) It’s an older home with “sensitive” pipes, so even toilet paper goes into the trash. They have cute signage and trash cans next to the toilets to remind you. It’s not a big deal but thought it should be noted.7) Laundry is under the porch area which can get pretty dark at night and hard to navigate so bring a flashlight.

This is our 2nd time staying & we loved it just as much as our 1st visit. The location is peaceful, quiet & surrounded by nature's beauty. Amy & Billy are fantastic hosts! We will be back again!
