Location is excellent. Just a 10 minute walk to the old town. 2 super markets close by as well as restaurants and a bakery. The property overlooks Banje beach. We had apartment 4 which was a fantastic size. Large windows with fantastic views. Massive bed. TV with streaming services. Separate small bedroom with double bed. Fully fitted kitchen with everything you need to self cater. Dishwasher. Bathroom Toiletries, cleaning items, laundry tablets for washing machine Air conditioning Clean and comfortable NOTE: lots of steps. If you plan on driving and parking it will be difficult to park

At first I wasn't sure we had found the right property as it is more unkempt than the photos show. The description said Onyx 2&4 was a 2 bedroom apt. There was a large double bed in the living area and a separate bedroom. This needs to be more explicit. 2 beds is not the same as 2 separate bedrooms! I didn't receive instructions for getting into the property until the morning I was leaving the UK - very short notice. Was told we were in Onyx 4. When we arrived I couldn't find how to get in as there was a sign for Onyx Apts 1,2 & 3 but nothing for Apt 4. To get to all the apartments you have to go up the steps from the road, turn left and walk down the side of the main property to the back. There is an outside staircase that takes you up to the back door. There are 4 key locks for the 4 apartments. It was dark at times when we were going out and there was no light (which must be on a timer). I found this a bit dangerous. Going into the back of the building to get to the apartment there was a musty smell of stale smoke and damp. Not in the apartment itself though. Suggest a mirror for the small double bedroom. The hot water doesn’t last long enough for 2 showers. The shower head kept falling off the wall and position of it made it difficult to use. On our last night which was a Friday there was a private event at Banje Beach Club opposite which went on until 1 am. The music was so loud the windows in the property were vibrating. This isn't the fault of the owner but it has certainly reflected on my score. Check out time is 10 am. Most places nowadays are 11 am.

We loved our stay, the location was fantastic. We enjoyed being outside of Old Town, but just a quick walk to Ploce gate, with no steps to enter the main area. (There are steps up to the apartment. After exploring the area, I think we got off easy!) We loved looking out our windows and seeing a beautiful view of Old Town. We were thankful for the very adequate A/C during our stay, and the beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable for 3 adults. I think we missed a good chance to meet the owners, as we were VERY tired at the end of each day and on arrival, There was a wine bar on the property we didn't have a chance to try, so leave time for that! Grocery store, bakery, Airport Shuttle, and Banje Beach all close by. I'd definitely try to stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to Dubrovnik.

Location and friendliness of the owners managers. Accommodation was spacious bright and clean. In-house bar was a real bonus.

The steps ... no lift for us oldies! TV was unavailable. Description of property implied a separate bedroom whereas all one accommodation.

Dass ein Fensterläden kaputt war und immer zu viel bei der tollen Aussicht.
