Morocco Hotel El Nido

We had an amazing stay at Morocco Hotel! The location, affordable price, and wonderful staff made it a great choice - they were very accommodating. It’s right by the beach where the tours pick you up, so you can enjoy breakfast without rushing before meeting your tour company there. Our room was small, but the beautiful view and little balcony made it feel special. The rooftop restaurant is a must-visit, and the breakfast food was delicious! Overall, this hotel offers great value, and I would highly recommend it.

There was no phone in the room to contact the staff, so we had to go downstairs if we needed anything. Thankfully, it was only a short walk. We also noticed ants on the wall. The bathroom is a wet room, so expect the floor and surrounding area to get wet when you shower. Only one pillow per person was provided, but the staff happily gave us an extra when we asked.

We stayed in here for nearly a week, felt like being with an old friend rather than just a hotel. The owner helped us to rent a scooter, introduced nice spots and restaurants to go, as well as many useful advices and tips regarding island hopping, diving... His own story starting a new life in El Nido inspired me a lot, and perhaps will encourage me to move there as well. ;)

Power and water supplies are not stable in this area, but the hotel has its own generator.

We had such a lovely stay at Morocco Hotel. The owner is incredibly kind and helpful, and whenever we needed anything, he made sure it was sorted. Everyone working there made us feel welcome and really well looked after. The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, the mattress was very comfortable, and the Samsung air conditioning was powerful but quiet (which we really appreciated in El Nido’s heat). Lovely views too, and shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The street quietened down around 11 pm, so we slept well. Definitely try the Moroccan food. I’ve been to Morocco three times and I’m from Andalusia in southern Spain, so those flavours felt familiar. It was delicious and tasted authentic. Thank you to the owner and all the staff for making our stay so comfortable. We’d love to come back!

Posizione comoda vicino alla spiaggia e al porto da cui partono le barche per i tour e i traghetti. Personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione ottima nella terrazza situata all'ultimo piano con vista mare.

La camera che ci è stata assegnata non aveva la finestra e ciò non era specificato nella descrizione della camera durante la prenotazione (anzi era indicata la presenza di uno spazio esterno), sebbene comunque fosse probabilmente intuibile dalle foto della camera. Era presente solo una piccolissima finestra in bagno da cui entravano odori da cucine di locali vicini. Questo ovviamente rendeva l'aria della stanza pesante e stantia senza possibilità di ricambio. Fortunatamente la presenza del condizionatore/deumidificatore ci ha consentito di tollerare la situazione. Lo scarico della doccia era molto lento (con rischio di allagare il bagno). I due asciugamani piccoli che ci sono stati forniti non erano puliti. La colazione è costosa se confrontata con i prezzi dei locali vicini.
