Friendly staff. Excellent location. Relaxed atmosphere.

Spacious homely penthouse suite, 3 large sofas and dining table for 6 with supersize TV. Unusual heating but effective Kitchen area good with microwave full oven dishwasher and washing machine. Took our own coffee machine and airfryer as temporarily living away from home. The outside areas, had seating front and rear but needed some tlc. Random quantities of cutlery/crockery/glasses but plenty for us two with spare for visitors . Easy access to pub next door with excellent Sunday Roasts.

Kitchen sink tap continuously leaking hot and cold water with audible noises.

Well equipped from bathroom toiletries to dishwasher tablets. Everything we could possibly need, even a bottle of wine. Fluffy towels, excellent bed linen and a book for all occasions. James responded quickly to a query re heating. The staff at the Windmill are friendly and welcoming. The Penthouse was clean and warm when we arrived.

Black out curtains in bedroom would be good.

Key safe was easy to find and code worked. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, with everything you needed for a week’s stay.

The entrance was very dirty with cigarette buts thrown on the floor and up the stairs, the whole entrance needed a good jet wash as very dirty from foot fare and people smoking! The front balcony was not useable as seats were dirty and the area had not been cleaned The outside space at the back of property needed to be cleaned and tidied, lot’s of broken fence and surrounding area needed to be tidier. Bathroom radiators don’t work. Heating took us the whole evening to work out how to turn on as no instructions, we did ask the contact in the pub, but he didn’t know. Bath was not clean and i had to clean before i used it. Lot’s of things around the apartment needed attention and fixing.
