We enjoyed the location near the town and beach. Parking no problem for us at this time of year. The friendly bar below was handy.

Stairs not a problem for us but could be if you don’t like stairs.

it is above a pub - but the host was clear about that in the listing so we knew in advance

A lock box for each apartment on the wall outside was a good idea, a code is emailed to you before arrival, quite secure premises even though the door is down a side alley. The keys were inside the box to get into the property and each apartment, a few steep stairs to climb for those who might find that difficult to cope with. Nicely furnished throughout the apartment, aesthetically modern and comfortable, the double bed and bedroom were fine, nicely decorated. A separate room with bunk beds, and the bathroom, lounge and kitchen. The lounge was cosy, it had a massive sofa, Smart tv, and was quite airy and light with the sunshine streaming in through the windows. The bathroom itself was nicely decorated with a bath/shower, modern toilet, sink and taps, heated towel rail and mirror. The kitchen facilities were top drawer, especially, if you are self catering for a few days/week, including a washing machine, and an iron, which you don't often see, so, excellent electrical appliances to use throughout your stay, hob, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, along with washing up soap, dish-towel, and crockery/cutlery all ready for use. A few cupboards were available if you want to store any shopping you've bought, a smallish fridge (inside a cupboard) for your cold food and drinks, it's all there ready. There is also a huge breakfast bar/table with very high chairs to sit on, you feel as though you're 6 feet up in the air, which might cause a little concern for those with very small children. Good views from the lounge and kitchen over the street below, although you are above a pub, so, the outside noise might be a bit loud throughout the day/evening with assorted seating on the pavement outside in the summer for customers, along with all the shoppers, pedestrians, dog walkers and traffic.

The shower was inside a deep bath, which I found rather difficult getting in and out of, without any grab rails, etc, as I'm a Pensioner, especially, when it was wet, however, it was the owner's desire to have one fitted. I personally would prefer a straight walk in shower, but not everyone in the trade offers that choice, currently.

Location was great. Really big bedrooms. Nice sized bathroom and good shower. Host was very attentive and friendly.

Bin in kitchen was way too small, no freezer in the fridge, as mentioned in other reviews entrance was right in front of industrial bins and it was very messy. Full length mirror would have been nice! Music downstairs bothered us one night but we left for some peace and quiet 😂
