Poggio Al Lago Apartments & Rooms

What we liked most was how clean and comfortable the apartment was. Being on the ground floor was very convenient, especially when carrying luggage. The self-catering facilities were well-equipped and made it easy to prepare meals during our stay. The reception staff were excellent throughout our visit. They were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to assist with any questions or requests. We also really enjoyed the pool facilities, which were clean, well-maintained, and a great place to relax after a day of exploring Sirmione.

There were a few drawbacks. The apartment did not provide an iron or ironing board, which would have been useful for a longer stay. We also found that the walls between apartments were quite thin, and we could clearly hear our neighbours next door. In addition, our bedroom window faced the driveway, so there was some traffic and guest noise at times, particularly late evenings when we were in bed. Despite these minor issues, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend Poggio Al Lago Apartments & Rooms to travellers looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with great staff and good facilities in Sirmione.

pulizia, simpatia e supporto, parcheggio

è leggermente fuori dal centro ma nel complesso ci sono diversi mezzi a disposizione

Čisto, uredno, prostrano! Veliki bazen iza u dvorištu, parking uz objekt. Jako blizu jezera, na pola minte hoda.

Free parking right next to the hotel. The room was generally clean. Toiletries and basic room amenities were provided.

- 3rd-floor rooms (under the roof) are not shown in the official photos and have very low ceilings. Even at 175 cm tall, we bumped our heads multiple times in both the hallway and the room. - The towels smelled strongly of vinegar, and the duvet cover had no buttons or zipper, so it kept falling off. The pillows were completely different from the photos and very uncomfortable. - The entire room smelled heavily of cleaning chemicals/detergents. The main light was so dim it felt like a small nightlamp, which was especially frustrating given the limited natural light. - The windows are located near floor level. When opened in the bathroom, anyone outside can see you sitting on the toilet. - The front entrance door has poor sound insulation. It was extremely noisy in the hallway until 11:00 PM and we heard everything clearly. - Everything extra was charged, and overall the value for money was poor. For the same price, we could have stayed in a much nicer hostel with breakfast included.
