Appartamento bello grande luminoso. Collocato in un bel quartiere, abbastanza vicino al centro.

La domotica e' ambiziosa ma poco funzionale. Ci sino cose non funzionanti (doccia grande, scarico otturato)

J’ai réservé cet appartement via Booking.com, mais après la réservation, j’ai été redirigée vers le site de Wonderful Italy pour toutes les modalités d’entrée : paiement de la taxe de séjour, signature automatique du contrat, téléchargement des pièces d’identité, réception des codes d’accès, etc. J’avoue avoir été un peu réticente à devoir transmettre autant de données personnelles sur un site étranger que je ne connaissais pas. Au final, j’ai fait confiance puisque la réservation venait de Booking, mais tout est entièrement automatisé et il n’y a aucun interlocuteur humain. En plus, certaines parties du site ne sont pas traduites, ce qui rend les démarches assez compliquées, surtout pour quelqu’un qui ne maîtrise pas bien internet ou qui ne parle pas anglais. Concernant l’appartement, il est conforme aux photos et très spacieux, donc aucune mauvaise surprise sur la taille. Les chambres sont grandes et il y a trois lits, ce qui est pratique. Le grand lit se trouve à l’étage, juste à côté de la chambre avec le jacuzzi, les deux espaces étant liés. Les lits ne sont pas particulièrement confortables, mais les draps étaient propres et les coussins corrects. La cuisine, en revanche, est clairement vieillissante et mériterait une rénovation. Elle semble dater d’au moins quinze ans et certains éléments sont assez usés. Cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangés car nous ne l’avons pratiquement pas utilisée, à part pour le frigo. Les salles de bain sont également anciennes mais fonctionnelles. Petit point important : dans l’une d’elles, le bac de douche en céramique glisse énormément, donc il faut faire attention. J’ai aussi trouvé un sèche-cheveux dans le placard, ce qui était appréciable. Le séjour manque vraiment de luminosité. En journée, nous devions ouvrir les grandes fenêtres pour avoir suffisamment de lumière, et le soir l’éclairage est insuffisant. Malgré cela, l’appartement garde un certain charme avec son style urbain et son bâtiment ancien.

The apartment is spacious, located in a good area of Palermo, and has two bathrooms, which is convenient for larger groups. The keyless entry system through the app is practical and eliminates the need to carry keys.

The biggest disappointment was the communication. We were told that we would receive confirmation about the possibility of an early check-in the day before our arrival, but despite sending several messages through Booking.com, we never received a reply. The same happened when I needed assistance regarding the rental agreement. Fortunately, Wonderful Italy helped resolve the issue, but communication through Booking.com was practically non-existent. It seemed that responses were only provided when payment or guest registration was required. The apartment is also in need of maintenance and renovation. Several sinks, the bidet, and the bathtub had drainage issues. The refrigerator is outdated and should be replaced. Small flies regularly appeared around the dining table area. Some mosquito screens were torn and need replacement. There was a visibly cracked glass panel on the upper-floor walkway leading to the bedrooms. Since we had to cross it every day, it created constant concern for our safety. No guest should have to question whether a walkway is safe to use. This issue made part of the apartment feel unsafe and significantly reduced our enjoyment of the property. Overall, the apartment does not match the condition shown in the photos and would benefit greatly from proper maintenance and better customer service.
