Broadway Boutique Hotel

Location

Very close to city

Spacious rooms, modern bathroom. The lady that assisted us on the day after our arrival. She was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.

Overall, we had different expectations. The advertisement on Booking and even one of the FAQ's mentions that there is a restaurant in the hotel (one of the reasons why we booked). Clue: there is no restaurant. As we travelled with our toddler, we needed a baby bed in our room, which was offered by the hotel. Clue: when we arriverd at 17.30 (a few hours later than official check-in time), the baby bed still needed to be set up and it turned out to be broken and parts were missing, and therefore not usable. When we asked for a different one, they told us this was the only one they had available. When you offer this kind of service as a 4-star Boutique Hotel, you need to make sure that your facilities matches those 4 stars. The chairs in the breakfast area were torn, as were the sofa's. The girl who helped us upon arrival was clearly new and did not know anything. This probably was a 4 star boutique hotel a couple of years ago, but it definitely isn't anymore. You can find better accomodation in Tirana for less money.
