L'agencement de l'appartement; La proximité des lieux touristiques

Souci de serrure à la porte d'entrée de l'immeuble; nous avons souvent passé de longues minutes à essayer de rentrer;

Ground floor apartment! Ease of access straight off the street, was perfect. It was quiet, sometimes we heard people above moving around, but nothing to disturb us. Very comfortable beds, we slept well, no noise from street or others in the block. Very spacious for an apartment so close to the city. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Some issues with mosquitos, (as in the very where in Florence this time of year) but it is managed very well and we weren’t disturbed, (or bitten once!) Facilities were great; washing machine (and a laundromat 100m down the street if you need a dryer) and a clothes horse and backyard with sun was lovely! The internal section has no windows, but plenty of lamps created lovely mood lighting and the natural light from the back room was perfect. We asked to borrow a stove top coffee maker from Costa and by the time we got home from out morning outing, there was a new one waiting for us. We absolutely loved the location. The street was so vibrant and interesting. Trattorias, bars, the Medici Musem, a chemist, artist’s studios, a vintage clothes shop, to name a few. Oh my goodness, we were in heaven. A short ten minute walk to the main town square Piazza Signoria with plenty to see on the way. And the other way, the Botanical Gardens. I’ll m writing this review on the train as we leave Firenze behind, thanks Costa for a great stay.

Be prepared to manage mosquitos by keeping external doors shut and burn the little citronella candles at night and you’ll be fine. The bathroom was a bit stuffy, but we kept the windows open as much as we could. For the price, comfort and location these things were worth putting up with.

Het was precies zoals te zien op de foto’s. We hebben niet gemerkt dat er iets ontbrak. Alles was heel schoon.
