This is a somewhat unusual review because I'm actually giving 8 stars to the whole holiday experience which, however, consisted of two different experiences. The property that we paid for was full of mold which I am allergic to, so I requested a different property. Now comes the positive part: though it was quite late in the afternoon, the lady from the Interhome office very quickly responded with an offer of alternative accommodation and we confirmed that we liked the offered place, which was both larger and more modern, a proper house made from bricks, not a wooden cottage as the original one. We had a car, so it didn't matter so much that it was not as centrally placed as the original one. The same evening we moved to the new place, and we were happy with it. In reality it was even better than in the pictures, there was a nice terrace and peaceful surroundings.

The original place had low ceilings as noted by one other reviewer already. Also the communication before the arrival was far from satisfactory: one business day before our arrival, a gentleman from the Interhome company wrote to me in a Booking.com message "You will meet our local colleague at the office and they will give you all the informations you need for the check in at the property." The office was a 20-minute drive away from the property. However, it turned out that the keys had been placed in a box next to the door, so no drive had been necessary. The mold was a substantial problem: given that the (quite old) house sits on a slope, the apartment is effectively in the basement, receives very little sunlight, and mold is prevalent.

Niet geschikt voor langere mensen door lage plafonds. Hierdoor vrij donker in huis. Wij hebben naar het dorp gelopen en dan is het een flinke klim terug. Zeker 20min lopen. Het huisje bestaat uit meerdere woonlagen. Wij hadden de onderste laag. Dat was niet duidelijk uit de info van booking.com. Interhome gaf aan dat het sleutelkastje links onder de trap zit. Dat klopt maar dat was niet van ons appartement. Dus interhome gebeld en een hele vriendelijke mevrouw gaf tekst en uitleg dat wij naar beneden moetsten lopen. Daar heeft zij de verwarming aangezet en de werking uitgelegd. Prima opgelost.
