Good location, very nice check-in person

Check-in process was unacceptable. I was given no direction so contacted both the pension and booking.com to no avail. I ended up asking the booking.com AI chatbot how to check in and was told I needed to check in at the restaurant across the street. This too was false - the check-in restaurant was actually around the corner. Why would I not have been given this info by the pension prior to check-in. I could not possibly have guessed! The other unfortunate thing is how bad the wifi was. I have never complained about wifi at anywhere I have stayed and, in fact have rolled my eyes when I’ve read those reviews. However, the wifi was so bad that the only place in my room that I could get a consistent signal (more than 5 minutes at a time) was with my back touching the entrance door. And finally, I would say the place is not that suitable for Pilgrims who want a reasonably early start. The included breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30. Furthermore, there were no instructions for return of the keys so I assumed they were to be returned to the restaurant but it didn’t open until 8.
