ATTENTION: tentative de arnaque. Après le checkout nous avons reçu un message WhatsApp avec une vidéo en nous accusant de laisser l’appartement avec du caca para terre dans la toilette. Sur cette vidéo on voit des pattes de chien, or nous n’avons pas d’animaux et nous avons laissé tout en état propre comme d’habitude. En téléphonant ils nous posent la question si nous mettons en cause la parole de l’équipe de nettoyage.

The apartment was clean, spacious, and conveniently located near the train station, with easy access to central Nice. Two of three bedrooms were quite nice with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well equipped with cookware, dishes and appliances.

The biggest issue was the third bedroom, which seems to be close to a plumbing line and a stairwell, making flushing throughout the night and morning stairwell traffic disruptive particularly for light sleepers. Check in was cumbersome, with the key located in a mailbox in a separate location some distance from the apartment. The rental felt minimally serviced: only three roles of toilet paper for a 6 night stay, and there were few cooking essentials. Given the price we paid for our stay, we expected a more polished and accommodating experience.

Getting the keys and into the property was a little confusing.

We booked #34 Staywizus - Lamartine Central 3 BDR AC Balcony through Booking.com. Before arrival, we received instructions for self-check-in, but we didn't realise the office only operates from 10 AM to 6 PM. When we arrived at around 7:30 PM, the key provided would not open the apartment door. We tried everything, including asking neighbours for help, but had no luck. We contacted the host, but there was no response because the office was closed. Booking.com tried to reach them as well but couldn't. We were left with nowhere to stay and had to book another apartment for the night. The next morning, the host sent someone to let us in. Once inside, the apartment itself was clean, spacious, and ideal for our group of five. I have no complaints about the property. However, I wouldn't recommend staying here because there is no support outside office hours. If you have an issue after 6 PM, you're on your own until the office reopens the next morning.
