I stayed here with my husband and daughters as part of vacation exploring the Italian coasts. We had chosen Ancona as a base to take day trips up and down the eastern coast, so the proximity to the train station was a huge plus for this apartment. Ancona is pretty hilly, but the walk from the train station was very manageable, even with luggage. Everything we needed was within easy walking distance, including a grocery store and several good restaurants. We arrived mid afternoon and were really hungry, but of course, that's when all the traditional Italian restaurants are closed. Luckily, there was an open kebob place right across the street! We were saved a couple of times by kebob places on this trip. Later, we ate at a great pizzeria a few doors away. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a spectacular view of sunsets over the harbor.

The only annoying thing was that the apartment key was attached to this card that had to be inserted into a slot inside the apartment to turn on the electricity. So, one person couldn't run an errand and take the key to let themselves back in. It would have been nice to be able to separate the two.

Buona giornata, Giulio
