I went with my daughter and dog. Perfect for a " get away from it all " break.
The chalet is enchanting - I didn’t want to leave! 😀
However, the chalet is advertised as 1 bedroom but there is in fact no bedroom as such. There is a mezzanine and you have to access by a ladder so not suitable for everyone! There is also a pull out sofa in the salon.
The host Jean Jaque was very pleasant and recommended a lovely restaurant .. with an amazing view - so we got to see a stunning sunset whilst eating.. it is a bit tricky to get there, lots of winding roads but keep going … it is worth it!!!
We also rose at 6.45 to see the magnificent sunrise !!
It is close proximity to a busy road which is pretty noisy - it was a shame because I understood from the booking that it was super peaceful - I like to sit on the terrace and read .. with no noise. Also I would have liked to go for little walks with my dog ( not having go into the woods alone ) but the road was too dangerous, they go pretty fast.. even when they see people walking but that does not take away from how lovely it was in general !
