This was the second time I stayed at this property and I love it . So peaceful with beautiful views from the balcony. The rooms are so spacious and airy.. You have all you could require the kitchen is equipped to all your needs and requirements. The sofas are incredibly comfortable as was the bed. I slept like a dream. The tv is a smart tv where you can watch your apps on from the likes of Netflix and prime tv… The shower is spacious and has a wonderful touch as being a waterfall effect… so lovely after a long day …. The beach is across the road. You have Walton on the Naze in one direction 10 minute drive away.. And clacton pier 10 minutes drive the opposite direction …. I would highly recommend this property to anyone .. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

I have nothing bad to say about this property at all. As it’s decorated to a high spec. But what I would like to advise to people that when I first stayed here I parked my car on the seafront which is £6.00 per 24 hours which is quite outstanding considering the prices of car parks these days and I could see my car from the balcony . However on my second stay very recent I was kindly told by a resident in the building I could park at the bottom of the street where the park is As it is free and available to the public. As I was staying longer this time I decided to park my car there. When I left the property yesterday on the 25th of September after my 3 night stay my car was significantly damaged… I had scratches and swirl scratches on both sides of the front driver and passenger panels and a huge scratch over the bonnet of my car… so I would advise anyone who stays at this property to perhaps not park there.. but this doesn’t reflect anything regarding the property as it is an amazing place to stay.. even though I’ve had to take my car to a local paint shop where I live..

Very well equipped & furnished, the property was spotlessly clean. Great location.

Insgesamt haben uns England und die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Die Lage mit Strandblick und die maximal 5 Minuten bis an den Strand sind dabei besonders hervorzuheben. Wir haben die Unterkunft auch genutzt, um weitere Ziele während unseres Urlaubs zu erreichen. Neben einer sehr guten und modernen Ausstattung der Unterkunft, war die Kommunikation und Abstimmung mit dem Vermieter sehr gut und es wurde sich auch aktiv erkundigt, ob wir etwas brauchen bzw. alles haben. Insgesamt ist die Region um Clacton sehr familienfreundlich und trotz Hochsommer absolut nicht überlaufen. Weiterhin ist das englische Klima sowie die englische Küche besser als der Ruf vermuten lässt. Durch eine insgesamt gute Lage der Unterkunft, konnte man hier alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs zu Fuß, mit dem Bus oder mit maximal 5-10 Autominuten erreichen. Wir sind eine 4-köpfige Familie (beide Kinder beginnendes Schul- bzw. endendes Kindergartenalter) und können uns nur sehr positiv überrascht von England zeigen. Hier hat die Unterkunft klar zu einem ersten positiven Eindruck beigetragen.

Hier gibt es unsererseits keine negativen Anmerkungen.

Good, quiet location about one mile from Clacton and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Chip shop and general store nearby and 3 pubs/restaurants. We had an excellent lunch at Kingscliff Hotel. We loved the balcony with a sea view and the sunsets from the balcony by the front door. We could see the sea from every window. The main bedroom was comfortable as were the 2 large sofas. The free carpark, 100 yards up the road, was great. We parked the car and left it there all weekend without having to worry.

We were disappointed that Coastal Charm was obviously an ex-council flat. The access was through a security gate, across the communal space and up two flights of external (fire escape) stairs. This felt both intimidating and intrusive for the permanent residents. We felt guilty holidaying in what could have been an affordable family home. I was emailed several times about proper disposal of rubbish, with threats of fines for not recycling properly, yet, in the property there was a bin for "plastic", a bin for "metal", a bin - with no liner - for "biodegradable waste" and labels on a shelf, in a cupboard, for "glass" and "paper/card". The only general waste bins were the bathroom ones. On departure, we diligently took the rubbish to the communal bins (no mean feat down 2 flights of stairs with inadequate containers!) only to discover that there was no bin for biodegradable or one for glass so they had to go into general waste anyway. This was confirmed by a neighbour. The layout of the second "bedroom" was ridiculous as the, arguably unnecessary, ensuite bathroom took up valuable space resulting in nowhere to put clothes and a sofa bed that, if we had managed to open it, would have obscured the doorway. My daughter slept, quite comfortably, on it as it was. I'm not sure how two people would manage. The ensuite bathroom had impractical, imitation raised pebble effect flooring, which was also on the windowsill. This was uncomfortable to walk on and potentially unhygienic. The cleaners had done their best but impractical choices for furnishings meant that the pale blue sofa bed and carpet were stained. And anyone who thinks a white feather lampshade is a good idea has obviously never had to do any cleaning!!
