Boutique Hotel Torre Di Cala Piccola

location location location! spectacular views. Stunning scenery!

though service was adequate, the hotel lacked the sense of a highly curated resort I expected. The rooms are a bit dated. The shower head - a hand-held simple one. periodically a heavy stench entered the room from the drain. We were allocated a minimal number of toiletry which were not replenished the second day. Two coffee capsules only in the room beside the lovely free panetone. Oh, I'm sure we could have asked for more of everything - but we shouldn't have to. Service at the restaurant was cordial but slow and again, not quite up to scratch (we never did get the wine list the second evening, - all ended well, the waiter was helpful - but this is the kind of thing which I did not expect. Breakfast was a lovely buffet but we found out by chance we could have ordered eggs and pancakes - we were never offered the menu ( and by the way 15 minutes for a soft boiled egg at breakfast with no other diners around? not acceptable). All these I would have glossed over becuse the overall experience was one of relaxation and contentment - but this was not te pampering feeling I was looking for.

Location and the special sunset dinner we had.

Amazing location

Super beautiful place. The staff were extremely helpful and made everything very easy.

The drink prices at the bar were quite expensive which meant I wanted to go elsewhere through the day to avoid spending so much. They do offer a free shuttle to the beach club 10 mins down the hill where it is much more affordable though.

That location, the views and the beach

The rooms are old and the bathroom is very small. You can hear every word from your neighbors. Breakfast is very basic. Staff very friendly, but unprofessional. Way too expensive for what it is.
