The Secret Garden Relais

Loved everything about the property. It was stunning. Beautiful! Location was awesome!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Gennaro was amazing. He helped us with sights to see and the best places to visit. The hotel itself is located withing a beautiful garden.

The air conditioner was loud and we had to put a towel in the headboard since every little movement made it rattle and bang.

Our four night stay at the Secret Garden was just perfect. The surrounding gardens were so lovely, it really did feel like a ‘Secret Garden’. The rooms were all very clean and comfortable and having air conditioning was just great. The breakfast each day was lovely, with a wide selection of cakes and pastries which was an added bonus. The hospitality of the host was exceptional. He was so accommodating and helpful with all of our requirements and he went above and beyond what was expected. He always made sure we were happy and that everything was as we needed it to be. He was always available if we needed anything, he gave us lots of advice and tips and he was always very easy to contact. We were a family of 10 and everyone had a truly lovely stay at the hotel. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the train station and around a 10-minute walk to the pretty town centre and harbour area. We would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay here again if we visit Piano di Sorrento.

Nothing, everything met our expectations and on several cases exceeded them. The hotel was a great little find!

Gennaro was an excellent host, always available to answer questions, and went out of his way to help. He booked tickets for a day trip to Capri, informed us about the direct bus from Piano di Sorrento to Naples Airport, and provided clear directions to the bus stop.

The rooms are dated. While a kettle was provided, there were only tea bags and no coffee. Very limited choices for breakfast with no menu available, and requested options like the scrambled eggs came in tiny portion sizes. Sleep disturbances were frequently disrupted by noise from a garden cockerel and a barking dog. Additionally, waking up every morning with new mosquito bites was a constant issue. After leaving the air conditioning on during the day to manage extreme humidity, staff turned it off and left the window open, letting humid air back into the room.
