Breakfast variety was good, while the food quality was average. The staff, especially the restaurant staff, was very friendly and professional! We had 2 dinners in the restaurant which where excellent. The surrounding area was beautiful and I was able to witness a beautiful sunrise over the hills.

We had a dog with us and had a room that was next to the stairs, an elevator and the entrance to the spa, so it was noisy all the time which drove him crazy. So maybe make the pet rooms far away from those noise sources.

Perfect location, superior X room was big and had 4 comfy beds. Big breakfast.

The location was, of course, excellent for hiking around Ukko-Koli, Akka-Koli etc. The breakfast was nice, with a lot to choose from (would have liked low-fat yogurt, though).

I was traveling with two other people. While my bed was just a fold-out sofa bed, it was still quite comfortable and more than enough for one person size-wise. However, the room itself would have been smallish for two people; it felt absolutely crammed for three. The advertised view out of the windows was hidden by a row of large spruces.

Location is unbeatable, right off the hiking trails of Koli National Park.

The room floor was not clean and there were leaves and dirt from the previous guests.

The hotel is in a wonderful location and we're so happy to have this place to stay in the one of the best places on earth!

The bathrooms are very small, but who cares? They couldn't be bigger, as it would mean less rooms can be accommodated. It could be a bit cheaper though. It's quite expensive

Right by the mountain with fantastic views

Paper thin walls where you can hear your neighbors thoughts or in our case their abandoned dog that kept barking until 9pm on a Sunday the entire time. Bathroom is also small enough to barely function but at least was clean. Staff could do nothing about the howling dog and parking is an absolute nightmare. You have to share the parking at the bottom of the mountain with all visitors and there are a lot of visitors.

The location is absolutely perfect, with good facilities. We visited during the summer and we are interested to come back again someday during the winter period.

Please add more fish (and local products) in general to your menu and breakfast. Nothing else worth complaining about really.

The spa is quite expensive and not really "family friendly" (specific timings for children access are quite restrictive).

The location is absolutely perfect, and the view from the room would have been perfect in better weather conditions. The spa has a lot of different options (pools/saunas etc). Nice breakfast and decent food options within the hotel. Rooms are big with good options to dry outdoor gear, and surprisingly quiet. The staff was very friendly even though they were clearly overworked.

The hotel was clearly understaffed (maybe due to pandemic/absences?) and waiting times could be crazy. Waited for check-in nearly 30min as there was only one person handling all customers for hotel/spa/bar. After arriving late and the long check-in we were super hungry, and waited at the restaurant to be seated another 15min without even being greeted - (new, inexperienced) co-workers running around managing all tables with only 3 persons, and nobody even said hi or "please wait a moment" which would have been totally fine. The service and food then was good, and much better the second day. However, as the hotel is rather pricy, we would have expected something else. Learning about the waiting times we tried to pre-book the spa for the second evening, which wasn't possible...so we came back to wait, ready in robes and slippers, and then were told we had to wait some more as the spa was full - and again couldn't pay yet, so more waiting. Eventually we got there shortly after, and the staff was very friendly. The parking is far away from the hotel (lift, or stairs in summer, unloading closer by is of course possible) and not covered, which we knew as we have been camping in Koli previously, but it's good to know if you are sensitive to weather or not good on foot.

Location is magnificient. The top of Koli is 100m away from Hotel front door, and so is downhillskiing. Spa is perfect, specially after 20.00 for couples (no children then).

Everything else was perfect, but they should think the reservation system of restaurant tables again. We asked for table with a wiew, didn' t get. We had a 3 course meal, and during that time all tables by the windows, except one, were empty. Also was odd, that we were served by 5 different waitresses during the meal. It also took 5 minutes, before we were taken to our table. Many waitresses were around during that time. But food was very nice, and so were the waitresses, but organizing was not the best, I have seen.

Spa facilities were very nice. Dinner was exceptionally good.

Well, it cannot be located better. Great views, great surroundings, great sunrise. We could check-in a little earlier with no problems. Beds were comfy.

The room was nothing but standard. Bathroom was clean but showed many signs of decay and was not well maintained. We had dinner at the restaurant - the friendliness of the staff varied a lot - to mention the bored-interacting very arrogant female restaurant waitresses and thanks at last to the friendly nice young man waiting on us in the end, he was great. At breakfast (which was a buffet and perfectly okay) we missed a minimum standard of hygiene, especially in covid times: just one poor staff member was there to clean tables after people left, there was none clean table to sit on. After all it is an expensive hotel and it could be so much more because of its extraordinary location - but would need a little more charming above the level of a middle class hotel chain.

very bad restaurant: rare burger for two adults and under cooked fish for a minor. Very very long waiting times and some dishes from the menu arrived only after asking for them. Overpriced in total and the children pizza (9 EUR) is the size of a teacup under plate. Spa dishes where stinky and there was a weird smell.

I loved everything about the hotel. The location is amazing just a short walk from a breathtaking view and many hiking trails. The room itself was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious (they also catered to the vegan diet). The hotel also gave us a room with lake view when requested.

There's nothing I didn't like but the reason I didn't give full points is because the hotel doesn't provide any small toiletries for free, you have to buy them yourself.

Breakfast is just so-so, but not superb as it described. There is nothing in the bathroom, only shower/shampoo, hand liquid soap. A bit too expensive for the price.
