Great location for exploring the city.

Being on the 4th floor with no working elevator was hard for 4 sixty year olds. It discouraged us from leaving the hotel to visit the city. The night shift receptionist had a bad attitude but I can hardly blame him. He had to carry all of our luggage up six flights of stairs to reach our rooms. The shower in one of our rooms overflowed within 2minutes of cutting on the water which meant taking a full shower was not possible. Unfortunately there was work being done in the area and taxi cabs were not allowed within 2 blocks. It was difficult arriving and departing with luggage attempting to maneuver on the cobblestone streets. I understand it was not the hotel's fault the elevator was not operational and taxis could not access the location but good customer service would have been to notify us in advance regarding these issues. Three in our party of 5 have mobility issues and this information should have been reported to us in advance giving us the opportunity to change our booking.

Lift didn’t worked - it was very hard to carry luggage to 4th floor. Rooms were very very very smal.

Location is perfect.

Good location, good shower, clean, staff were pleasant and friendly.

Our only concern was our toothpaste disappeared from the room and we forgot our plug adapter and when we went back a few days later, it had not been turned in.

Location was excellent… in a nice area close to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was good.

Rooms were a bit small and rooms and corridors need a upgrade.

Cleaning staff were wonderful and rooms were dated but immaculate. Lovely shower.

Every question I asked at reception was a no! No iron or kettle in the room.

bit of a shame that the room we stayed in was not advertised on the hotels website or booking.com had we known the room was so small we probably would of looked to stay somewhere else. the bed was very hard and we struggled to sleep. the room backed onto the hotels generator so it was very noisy at night when trying to sleep. price was very expensive for what we was given.

Only good thing: Location

Worst experience ever. Even if the Location is good, we would never stay here again. The pictures are NOT accurate. We arrived around 8 pm and did the normal check in. Staff was already not welcoming. Then we made our way to our room. The second we entered the room I was shocked about how bad our room looked. It was in a terrible state and definitely not clean. So we went back to ask for another room and tell them about how bad the current room is. Now here it comes: the staff told us in Portuguese "Unfortunately there is only one other room available which is WORSE. The staff itself said that it is WORSE. After talking to each other we decided to stay in this room, since we were only there for one night and only to sleep. On the next day we checked out of the hotel and asked politely if we could leave our luggage with them in a self place. They gave us a key to a cleaning room where we could leave it behind... We were already not sure if that was the best idea, but we only wanted to get a quick lunch to leave after. After lunch we went to pick up the luggage and of course the whole door of the cleaning room was open and everyone in the hotel could have easily taken our luggage. Long story short - there are other much better hotels with a great location in Lisbon.

Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and the noise made it hard to stay asleep. We heard a door slam periodically throughout the night, I assume it was other guests coming in and out of their rooms but it sounded like it was our door because it was so loud. For what we paid, I would have expected a better experience. We had stayed at a nearby hotel on our first trip through Lisbon and for only slightly more per night, the 2 rooms were a stark contrast.

location is excellent, 1 block from main pedestrian street, short walk to river and all major squares, churches etc. Staff was very helpful. room was small but well stocked, even had a fridge. Bathroom was good with large shower. towels a little thin. breakfast ok.

prime location

I feel like sleep on street with that loud noise, except that the room has super strong toxic smell reminds me it’s in a hotel. very expensive for what it provides. I was forced to forfeit the money and booked another hotel on the spot. yes, that’s how terrible the condition was.

there was a sting smell in the room as if something had been renovated. very chemical like, had to open the windows to get some air.
