We absolutely loved staying here!David provided us with extra towels when we requested. He offered to do our washing. He was super lovely and inviting. We really loved the decor and all the antiques. It was so lovely to see a home where the original features are celebrated rather than ripped out an modernised. The house is absolutely beautiful and was super central but tucked away enough that it was quiet. The tall ceilings made the already decent sized room feel even bigger. The room came with a wardrobe which was super handy to help us organise all of our clothes. there’s a radiator, heat pump and a/c so we could get the room the perfect temp for us. We’ve been away for 3 weeks and stayed in 6 different places and this was by far the comfiest bed we’ve had and the most inviting host. We would 100% stay with David again if we come back to Nelson! The garden is an added bonus! It’s huge, it gets super sunny in the day and there’s outdoor table to enjoy a meal at.

Handy to town, a bit quirky with interesting statues in foyer. Great outside area to have your morning tea. You can easily walk around town and dont need car. Built in 1800s lots of character but has been up graded with modern bathroom etc. We will definitely be back!!

Comfortable bed and pillow, great water pressure in shower, Netflix, outdoor area. The accommodation has character and we were very happy with it.
