Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel

We drove from Oregon up into Washington to see Snoqualamie Falls. Staying at a casino is never my first choice, but the price was good so good that we gave it a try. We didn't do any casino things, so the casino did not really affect us. This was just a place to stay, and it turned out great. The room was spacious, and had an upgraded bathroom . From out room, we had lovely views of the surrounding mountains. All the staff were super helpful and happy. It's just a short drive, 3.6 miles, to get to the town of Snoqualamie and the lovely Snoqualamie Falls area.

There was a refridgerator and a pod type coffeemaker, but no microwave. All hotel rooms should have a microwave.! When entering or exiting only, the casino noise is not pleasant, but our room was quiet. Of course if you are coming for the casino, you would expect, maybe even want, that casino soundscape. Not a deal breaker for us. There are NO sidewalks anywhere around the casino; therfore NO safe place to walk outside. The casino would benefit from a small walking loop in the surrounding area. The front desk suggested that I walk around inside the casino. Usually I enjoy walking outside in the early morning. Hey, I adapt: here I had to walk on the curb on a curvy road to get to the parking lot. One there I just circlied around in the parking lot because it was safer. The views of the surrounding mountains made it nicer. Again, not a deal breaker considering everything elese being superior.

Th smoke in there is so bad I would never go there again. Casinos need to start going smokeless. It’s so difficult to have a good time when you have to endure the nasty smoke everywhere. We typically go to our favorite smokeless casino in WA and we will stick to going there in the future. GO SMOKELESS!! I feel so bad for the employees too. 😞
