voco Guilin Yangshuo by IHG

I recently stayed at voco Yangshuo and had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh options to start the day. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and enthusiastic—they made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel also has beautiful scenery, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect getaway. A special highlight was the lovely animals on the property: alpacas, a white horse, and sika deer. They made our stay even more memorable and unique. I highly recommend voco Yangshuo and would definitely stay here again. Shorter version: Wonderful stay at voco Yangshuo! Had an absolutely perfect stay! The hotel's facilities and service totally lived up to what I expected, and the view? Way better than I ever imagined. I'd definitely come back with my family if I get the chance.

Great location with most staffs being friendly and helpful. Their rooms with private pool and sauna was fantastic. Impressed with the dishes at the hotel restaurant, using fresh local ingredients in delicious signature Guilin cuisine.

Layout of certain facilities is a bit messy and user unfriendly. Gym is put in the same room with kids area, and many other functions intervene, including a photo shooting service and area with hanging costumes. The rooms are nicely air-conditioned but some corridors are not. With the local high humidity and hot weather, it is stuffy. The carpets in the lifts do not help with its smell under the humid + heat. There is no proper visitor’s drop-off, while main entrance lay-by are tight and shared for servicing. Thus, there was an unpleasant incident when we with elderly who have mobility difficulties were being rushed by the manager to get on and take off immediately at the instance our car pulled in at the lay-by.
