There was no breakfast associate with the unit but whereas most host provide you with some coffee/tea this one did not except for 2 coffee captsuls.

It would have been better if the host had provide us with more than two toilet paper rolls, paper towel and regular towels and garbage bags (our stay was 5 nights!). The lack of instruction to the place was frustrating and we had the feeling of dealing with a local person who was young and amateurish, for exemple she bought us 120 liters garbage bags to go into a 20 liters garbage can and finally the freezer need a major defrosting it was hardly accessible!

Fernanda was wonderful as a host and so patient with us in light of delays we had at the airport and in terms of getting to her for check-in. Dealing with her and Alexander was a pleasant experience - they were both very friendly as well as super responsive. In terms of the flat, it was clean and spacious (it is rare to find an apartment this big for B&B in Italy so this was a plus!). The set up was cozy and even the bathroom was larger than we expected. Overall - a great stay despite a few points for improvement :)

There was a lot to like about this place however one thing that took us by surprise was the temperature control - or lack thereof. We stayed in mid April and during a steamy week which was warm in Rome, yet found ourselves unable to control the temperature in the room despite there being in A/C control panel in the flat. Upon getting in touch with our host were told that the AC is centrally controlled by the owner of the property and that it was not working / admin of the building could not operate the system, and they recommended us to keep our flat’s entrance sliding doors open for ventilation (there were no windows in the flat), so we slept with the doors open to allow the air to breeze in and still felt very warm which made for an uncomfortable sleep. The other issue was the entrance sliding doors themselves - they did not lock from the outside whilst we were going out, they only locked from the inside after we were in the flat. Whilst the apartment is nestled inside a 24/7 guarded building by security, it still made us slightly anxious. The last point is the bed - it was an uncomfortable bed. For such a neat, cozy and elegant apartment. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, which left us with the impression that with more investment on the bed, a better lock configuration on the sliding doors and sorting out the AC situation would make the overall experience a lot better!
