URBAN KS Stay

I was travelling on a very tight budget for a few days and this hotel provided everything I needed at a reasonable price. The bedroom was very nice and I liked that there were things like tissues, towels and trash bags available for guests to restock themselves. The microwave and fridge were great. The convenience of the airport bus stop being a few minutes away was fantastic! The train station was a very pleasant 15 minute walk away.

The bathroom smelled very bad which I had seen on other reviews. Thankfully there were two doors that could close between the bathroom and the bedroom so the smell was contained but it was fairly shocking every time I walked in.

Location, hotel cleanliness and staff is very helpful

When we first came to the property, we attempted to use the shower. Our shower was not draining at all. The manager quickly fixed it.

Although they advertise it as having air conditioning, the remotes were not present in the rooms. I was told that we weren’t allowed to use it until May. The rooms were incredibly hot even in March. If you selected the option, pay at hotel, beware. The reception hours are only from 9-4 and they won’t help you pay remotely. They told me to process my cancellation when I asked them to pay through the app because it was inconvenient to return to the hotel (it was at least 1 hr away from everything). It is also located on a busy nightlife street. People were screaming and singing, and restaurants were blasting music from 9pm on. The beds are hard as a rock. This wasn’t an issue for me, but all my friends struggled to sleep. The refrigerator also makes a crazy noise like every 30 minutes. The location is too inconvenient to deal with this.
