I can't rate Eden Kandy enough. The building itself is so stunning and well kept, inside and out! It was a peaceful stay which I like. Location was great, just a 15 minute walk into the main town. As for the owner, Udaya.. There is not enough praise in the world for this man. Who was attentive to every single on of his guests. He provided a PDF of local attractions and recommendations. I cannot fault him and the stay at all. I would come back here again and again :)
I wish I booked with the breakfast included as the guests who got the breakfast all commended it!

Location and friendly manager Udaya

Mr Udaya was the sweetest and most helpful host we’ve met in Sri Lanka, bending over backwards for us throughout our stay. The garden, room, and house were beautiful, breakfast was wonderful, and he generously shared tips for authentic shops and restaurants. He was reachable constantly and always answered immediately.
We were so sorry to leave this haven of peace. We thank Mr Udaya so much and wish him every continued success!
