L’accueil et la gentillesse et disponibilité de Mark nous donnant des pistes de visite et même un avertissement du passage d’un marathon qui risquait de nous bloquer aussi nous avons pu adapter notre emploi du temps temps… merci Mark! On peut prendre son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse !

This is the third time that I’m staying at Villa Nathaniel and I absolutely love Mark and Natalia. What hey offer for the price is extremely more and totally rewarding . For those of you who have never stayed or rented a room in the family home I would encourage you to start here. It’s a total different concept from staying in a hotel where is very impersonal. Renting a room with a private bathroom in their house has been wonderful and safe, especially for those who are traveling solo like me. .

This gem is located in a quiet neighborhood away from the busyness of downtown Pogradec. It is near a restaurant and a 10 min walk from a nice supermarket. I have traveled solo and found this to be the best place: nice, quiet, with a touch of rural Albania but near the beach and just a few minutes walk from all the restaurants and downtown shops. Mark and Natalia are the best hosts ever. They waited for me to arrive at 2 am and I had a nice and sweet tasty melon waiting for me in my room. They also make everything possible for guests to feel welcomed and loved. If you want to experience staying in a real Albanian hospitable place, this is your chance. I have traveled around the world and have stayed in 5 star hotels that offer luxury and lots of extras, but you don’t get the personal and unique touch of the real people that receive you in their home with so much care. The house has two floors and the two rooms upstairs have a private entrance that leads to an open porch that invites you to just sit and enjoy the breeze. From the porch you enter to a shared living space with fridge, microwave, Toaster, water kettle and few extras the hosts might leave for you. The room is comfortable and quiet with views of the mountains and a vegetable garden that looks like a mini farm. The price is well too good for all that this experience entails. I recommend it and hveKrwady booked I for another week.

Super quiet room, you can't hear much outside. There's a very good shower and a nice balcony. Hosta couldn't be nicer ! There's tortoises outside !

A bit of a walk to town, limited taxis or restaurants in the area. Not the owners fault
